Product Description
The Name A Star Gift Box is delivered in a luxury metal tin. Naming your star is easy; you can either complete the process online or by returning the Star Naming Instructions form inside your gift box. This is then entered into the Star Registry and you are sent a certificate confirming your star registration.
On the Star Details Form is information about your star including your star’s Right Ascension and Declination. These are the co-ordinates that relate to the location of your star. You can use these co-ordinates and the ‘5 Steps to Locating Your Star’ sheet to find the exact position of your star on the enclosed wall map.
If you register online then you will receive your star confirmation certificate within 10 working days. If you choose to register by post then this period of time is slightly increased to 28 days from when the form is received.
The chosen star name will be stored in a database and periodically submitted to the British Library. There are no star name restrictions and you will have 12 months to register your star.
